David Sliwicki is a Managing Director for Deerfield's Real Estate Finance team. Prior to joining Deerfield in August, 2005, Mr. Sliwicki was a Regional Vice President for PNC Real Estate Finance with responsibility for originating and structuring debt and equity investments in multi-family properties. Prior to joining PNC, Mr. Sliwicki was a Vice President for Transamerica Real Estate Finance where he sourced and closed floating rate and mezzanine debt for value added properties, including office, multi-family, industrial, retail, hotel and assisted living, in the Midwest, Rocky Mountain and West Coast marketplaces. Mr. Sliwicki began his career with Citicorp Real Estate, Inc. in New York where he completed Citicorp's formal credit training program and went on to positions in construction lending in Boston and loan work-outs and REO asset management in Chicago. Mr. Sliwicki holds a B.S. in Finance from Marquette University and a M.S. in Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

Brian R. Orr, Associate

Brian Orr is a Transaction and Portfolio Associate for Deerfield's Real Estate Finance team. Prior to joining Deerfield, Mr. Orr was a financial analyst with Capmark Financial and its predecessor company GMAC Commercial Mortgage. While at GMAC, Mr. Orr analyzed real estate markets and commercial properties on a national basis and provided investment recommendations to GMAC's correspondent, life company lenders. Prior to joining GMAC, Mr. Orr was a real estate paralegal with Haynes and Boone, a Houston based law firm, with a focus on commercial real estate loan transactions. Mr. Orr holds a BA from Purdue University and has completed numerous industry training courses offered by IREM and MBA.
