Jonathan W. Trutter, Chief Executive Officer

Jonathan Trutter is Chief Executive Officer of Deerfield Capital Corp ("DFR") and is also Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Deerfield Capital Management. He also is co-head of Deerfield Capital's Bank Loan Team. Prior to joining Deerfield in April 2000, Mr. Trutter was a Managing Director of Scudder Kemper Investments where he directed the Private Debt Department. He was formerly a Portfolio Manager for the Kemper Diversified Income Fund, Kemper Multi-Market Income Trust and Kemper Strategic Income Fund. Before joining Kemper in 1989, Mr. Trutter was Vice President in the Chicago office of Bank of America. Mr. Trutter received a Bachelor's Degree with dual majors in East Asian Languages and International Relations from the University of Southern California and an M.M. from The J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.

Robert C. Grien, President

Robert C. Grien is President of Deerfield Capital Corp. Prior to joining Deerfield, Mr. Grien co-founded Kelso Mezzanine Fund, L.P. and previous to that was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette ("DLJ"). Following the acquisition of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette by Credit Suisse Group (through its affiliate Credit Suisse First Boston) in November 2000, Mr. Grien joined DLJ Strategic Partners, L.P. ("DLJSP") as one of two founding Managing Directors and as a member of the investment committee. Prior to joining DLJSP, Mr. Grien was the Chief Credit Officer of DLJ's Investment Banking and High Yield/Leveraged Finance Groups. Prior to joining Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation, Mr. Grien worked as an associate at Gabelli and Company in New York. Mr. Grien received a B.A. in Political Science from Tulane University and an M.B.A. with beta gamma sigma honors from Columbia Business School.

Richard Smith, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Richard Smith is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of DFR and Senior Vice President of Finance for Deerfield Capital Corp. Prior to joining DCM, he had been employed by JP Morgan Chase & Company, most recently as Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting since July 2004, and by Bank One Corporation since October 1993. He is a certified public accountant. Mr. Smith received a B.A. from Michigan State University and a Master in Business Administration from Wayne State University.

Frederick White, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Fred White is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Deerfield Capital Corp. He is a Managing Director and serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Deerfield Capital. Mr. White was previously a partner in the Chicago office of Gardner, Carton & Douglas, where he was co-chair of the firm's Investment Management Practice Group. He concentrated his practice in the representation of private onshore and offshore investment funds, investment advisers, securities and commodity brokerage firms, commodity trading advisors, and institutional investors in connection with their investments in alternative investment products. Before joining Gardner Carton, Mr. White was a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis. Prior to that, he was with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (from 1975-1979) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (from 1970-1975), both in Washington, D.C. Mr. White is a 1966 graduate of Cornell University and a 1969 graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.

Aaron D. Peck, Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director

Aaron Peck is Senior Portfolio Manager of DFR and a Managing Director at Deerfield Capital Management. Mr. Peck rejoined Deerfield in July 2004 from AEG Investors, a fund management firm that focuses on turnaround opportunities in the middle market. Mr. Peck initially joined Deerfield in May 2002. Prior to joining Deerfield, Mr. Peck was responsible for the analysis of over $500 million in total investments at Black Diamond Capital Management, L.L.C., a fund management firm which largely invests in senior secured debt securities, both high-yield and distressed. Mr. Peck was a Vice President in the Global Special Situations Group of Salomon Smith Barney Inc, a proprietary investment group with over $1 billion in assets. At Salomon, Mr. Peck was responsible for identifying, analyzing, and valuing distressed debt opportunities for that group. Mr. Peck began his career as an Analyst at Lehman Brothers Inc, ESL Investments and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Peck received an MBA in Finance with Honors from the University of Chicago and a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
